A: Yes, BellaNOVA has specific restrictions regarding the breeding of kittens purchased from our cattery. To ensure the health, well-being, and control of our cat population, breeding is strictly not allowed. New owners will not receive their kitten's registration papers until we receive official proof that the kitten has been neutered or spayed. This policy helps us maintain the quality of life of our cats and supports responsible pet ownership, aligning with our commitment to the utmost care and ethical standards in cattery practices.

A: At this time, kittens must be picked up at our Virginia location. We are working on adding trusted transport and flight nanny options, which will be listed on our Shipping Services page once available.

A: Our kittens go to their new homes between 12–16 weeks of age, depending on their development, health, and readiness. This ensures they are fully weaned, litter trained, and properly socialized.

A: Pet kittens are adopted on a spay/neuter agreement. Breeding rights are available only to approved catteries.

A: Yes, but it’s enjoyable! Their semi-long coat is soft and plush, and it doesn’t mat easily. Weekly brushing is usually enough to keep it in top condition. Lauren, one of our founders, is an expert in grooming and is always happy to share tips with new owners.
